The Complete Story
Prabhu (Prabhu Deva) is a carefree, energetic college student chairman in Chennai, always hanging out with his hilarious best friend Vasanth (Vadivelu). During a college event, Prabhu lays eyes on Shruti (Nagma) and falls head over heels in love with her. He soon discovers that Shruti isn't just any girl—she is the daughter of Kakarla Sathyanarayana (Girish Karnad), the influential Governor of Tamil Nadu.
To win her heart, Prabhu joins the same classical dance academy as Shruti. Although she initially dismisses him, she is soon mesmerized by his incredible dedication and passion for dance. Love blossoms between them, but they face a mountain of danger. Shruti’s father strictly forbids their relationship due to their stark class differences and heavily restricts her movement under tight security.
However, the plot takes a dark, explosive turn when Prabhu stumbles upon a deadly political conspiracy. Governor Kakarla is secretly plotting with a ruthless terrorist commander, Mallikarjuna (Raghuvaran), to trigger state-wide bomb blasts and overthrow the government. Unknowingly caught in a web of deceit, Prabhu is framed for these terrorist attacks. With his honest police constable father, Kathiresan (S. P.
